From San Francisco originally, but now living in Bern, Switzerland, Mat, in the past, composed and performed music with world-beat band, The Looters, whose success led to the founding of the artists' collective Komotion International. For 11 years, Komotion was a centre of radical art making and revolutionary politics in San Francisco. Since she first took to the stage more than 20 years ago, Yvonne has become among the most well known and powerful blues singers in her native Switzerland. Over the last two decades, she has performed in London, San Francisco, and throughout Germany, France and Ireland.
